- Pollack or rough ground [CANCELLED] 30 Mar, 2026 from 08:15 AM to 04:15 PM — Eastbourne,
- Our second season with Phil Batt out of Eastbourne kicks off with some wrecking for pollack, or inshore rough ground fishing if it's too lumpy to get offshore
- Winter wrecking for pollack [CANCELLED] 16 Mar, 2026 from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM — Littlehampton,
- The pollack fishing should be in full swing, and we're definitely due a trip by now, so let's go and catch a boatload of doubles!
- Weymouth Pollacking! [CANCELLED] 16 Feb, 2026 from 09:05 AM to 05:05 PM
- Our first trip of the year with Richard English, chasing big fat, hard-fighting pollack from offshore wrecks. It's one of the most fun things you can do on a boat.
- Winter wrecking for pollack [CANCELLED] 09 Feb, 2026 from 07:55 AM to 04:55 PM — Littlehampton,
- Fingers crossed for out second attempt at getting after the big spring pollack run with Martin Donald from Littlehampton. Polish your leadheads and get ready for action!
- Winter wrecking for pollack [CANCELLED] 12 Jan, 2026 from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM — Littlehampton,
- Get a window in the weather and we're in business, where business = pollack and pollack = loads of hard fighting fun. Sign up today!
- Bass or rays or spurs [CANCELLED] 15 Dec, 2025 from 08:35 AM to 04:35 PM — Littlehampton,
- This would have been a codding trip in years gone by, but now we'll just have to content ourselves with enormous bass if the water is clear enough, or spurdogs and rays if it's not. Either way the action will be hot enough to warm up a chilly winter's day.
- Weymouth wrasse trip [CANCELLED] 24 Nov, 2025 from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM — Weymouth,
- One of the most popular trips of the year. When we get out, we're more or less guaranteed hours of constant action pulling in hard-fighting ballan wrasse on tackle as light as you dare go. And there's always the chance of a truly spectacular specimen. Can we beat the eight-pound barrier?
- Giant autumn bass guaranteed [CANCELLED] 10 Nov, 2025 from 08:25 AM to 05:25 PM — Littlehampton,
- As you well know "guaranteed" is a stretch. Okay, it's a lie, but if you're going to catch a monster bass, this is the right time of year to be trying. As always, murky water or bass being elusive means we'll anchor up for some rays and/or spurs.
- Big autumn bass * 13 Oct, 2025 from 08:20 AM to 05:20 PM — Littlehampton,
- This is one of our chances to smash Stew's huge eleven-pound club bass record, as the bass will be large and fat, and we'll be targeting them all day, if we can. The asterisk denotes that if the bass aren't playing bass, or the water is too murky for effective lure fishing, we'll fall back on the fast and furious action that is spurs and ray fishing at anchor.
- Weymouth autumn trip 29 Sep, 2025 from 08:15 AM to 05:15 PM — Weymouth,
- This is usually the best time of year to be fishing our of Weymouth, with bass, bream, flatfish, top, rays, huss and eels all a possibility, plus the chance to fish for the porbeagles which come to feed on the bream and mackerel over the rough ground,
- Rays and/or spurs or bassing [CANCELLED] 15 Sep, 2025 from 08:15 AM to 04:15 PM — Littlehampton,
- If the water is clear then we'll be bassing over offshore wrecks or, more likely, sandbanks, and if it's murky we'll try for spurs and rays at anchor.
- Rough ground fishing for rays, bream, huss and spurs, and perhaps squid jigging 05 Sep, 2025 from 08:10 AM to 04:10 PM — Eastbourne,
- This will mainly be a day at anchor fishing for bream and bigger species using a variety of baits. We'll also spend at least some of the day jigging for squid, so bring your squid lures!
- Bassing or big rays 22 Aug, 2025 from 08:05 AM to 04:05 PM — Littlehampton,
- If the weather is good enough and the water clear, we'll be focusing on bass over the sandbanks and rough ground with big leadheads. If it's less ideal for lure fishing, we'll be anchored on the sandbanks, catching big blonde rays.
- Weymouth summer trip from 25 Jul, 2025 08:00 AM to 26 Jul, 2025 05:00 PM — Weymouth,
- The best two days of the summer, and the quintessential Really Wrecked experience. Now featuring even less drinking, skinny dipping, rigging climbing and high jinks than ever before! The fishing will be pretty good though, with bream, bass, tope, conger, huss, and all kinds of rays in the crosshairs.
- Bassing or toping, or bassing and toping [CANCELLED] 14 Jul, 2025 from 08:55 AM to 05:55 PM — Littlehampton,
- It's high summer, and both tope and bass should be present in decent numbers. We'll probably spend some time at anchor for the tope, and some drifting with lures for bass, but we may focus on one or the other if the fishing is especially good.
- Tope, or bass, or maybe bream, or even smoothies 25 Jun, 2025 from 08:55 AM to 05:55 PM — Littlehampton,
- This is another one of those trips where the options are many and varied. If the tope are present in numbers, we'll definitely target them for at least some of the day, but we may also drift for bass, or fish at anchor for bream and smoothies. Whichever way, it'll be great.
- Bassing or maybe more pollack. Or both [CANCELLED] 09 Jun, 2025 from 08:55 AM to 04:55 PM — Eastbourne,
- Phil will be taking us to hunt bass on wreck, reef or sandbank, with maybe a smattering of pollack thrown in for good measure.
- Flatties, bream or bass [CANCELLED] 30 May, 2025 from 08:35 AM to 04:35 PM — Weymouth,
- Our first trip out of Weymouth with Richard English in about 15 years, so it's bound to be a total disaster. Assuming he remembers where he left his boat, the target will be spring plaice, if there are any about, plus turbot and brill, with maybe some bream as backup and bass, if the fish are there and feeding.
- Bream or bass or smoothies 19 May, 2025 from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM — Littlehampton,
- All the options are open to us here - the bream will be plentiful, there may be some good bass fishing over banks and reefs, and the smoothhounds will be inshore. What we target depends on the weather and how well the fish have been feeding.
- Breaming or wrecking 21 Apr, 2025 from 08:20 AM to 04:20 PM — Littlehampton,
- I may have been a bit premature in labeling our previous Littlehampton trip the 'last pollack trip of the year', as if the weather gods are kind, this one may also see us heading offshore. Alternatively we'll be having a go for the big early season black bream on the inshore reefs.
